Jo Acuff has been sewing for the Treasure Valley for over 20 years, and that is the part of her story the shop puts first. A seamstress is judged by how a garment hangs when you walk out the door, and twenty years is a lot of doors.

Most of what comes through is ordinary and important. A hem that drags. A waistband that gapes. A zipper that quit on the morning of an event. Pins go in while you stand there, because a number on paper cannot tell you how a sleeve moves when you lift your arm, or whether a hem looks right over the shoes you actually wear.

That is why ALL-SEW works by appointment. A fitting takes the time it takes, and it deserves one person's full attention, not a queue at a counter. Jo sews for men and women, children's clothing too, and does work for petites, where the rise, the sleeve and the hem have to be rebalanced together rather than one at a time. Quilt tops, bindings and whole quilts come across the same table as jeans and coats.

When life does not give you a week, emergency service and 24-hour turn around are available, and pickup and delivery can save you the drive. Ingrid McLachlan sent Jo a commission for her daughter and wrote that the style came out even better than the original. That is the standard the work is aimed at: the garment you had in mind, only closer.
